| Patricia H. Suter has been a resident of Corpus Christi since 1954. She is a retired professor of chemistry from Del Mar College and is presently self-employed as an environmental consultant. She is vitally interested in preserving the natural resources of the area and is active in all the local conservation organizations as a member of the board of directors. While at Del Mar College she prepared a series of telecourses in the field of chemical history and education which have been distributed all over the world. She has numerous publications in the field of chemical education. She received the EXCELLENCE IN COLLEGE CHEMISTRY TEACHING AWARD presented by the Chemical Manufacturers Association in 1986. She is very active as a member of several local committees and boards of the City, County, and State. |
