Liquid Unloading Project Data Sets

For the measurements completed on liquid unloadings, three types of files are available:

  1. Sites Dataset: Contains the summary information of the 107 total wells where measurements took place for wells with plunger lifts and wells without plunger lifts. The files contain two tabs. The notes tab describes the type of information in the file and the database reports the data from the study. The database includes specific information on the well parameters, well type, production rates, methane fraction in the gas, and annual venting events per year as reported by the operator. The database also contains the measured methane emissions per event as reported in the study.

  2. Time Series Data: Contains a jpeg graphic of the methane emissions rate during the field measurements reported in the study. Wells are categorized as automatic plunger lift, manual plunger lift, and manual wells without plunger lift.

  3. Measured Data: Contains a csv file for the measurements made during the study for each of the 107 wells. Wells are categorized as automatic plunger lift, manual plunger lift, and manual wells without plunger lift.
